Data Rights.

Your data belongs to you. Use this page to get a copy of what we hold, correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. We act on every request within one month, free of charge.

What you can ask for

Access
A copy of all the personal and business data we hold about you.
Correction
Fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Deletion
Erase your data — including every document you uploaded.
Restriction / objection
Pause or stop us using your data in certain ways.
Portability
Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent
Revoke any permission you previously gave — e.g. to approach a lender.

How deletion works

When you ask us to delete your data, we:

  1. Verify it's really you (to protect your data from someone impersonating you).
  2. Permanently remove your uploaded documents from our encrypted storage.
  3. Delete your account and associated records from our database.
  4. Instruct our sub-processors to do the same where applicable.
  5. Confirm to you in writing once it's done.
One honest exception
If we've already entered a working engagement, a limited amount of information may need to be retained to meet legal, tax or regulatory duties (for example, anti-money-laundering records). We'll tell you exactly what, why, and for how long — and delete the rest.

How long it takes

We confirm receipt quickly and complete your request within one calendar month, as UK GDPR requires. If a request is especially complex we may extend by up to two further months — and we'll always tell you if so.
