FAQ

The questions people
actually ask.

How much can I get?

It depends on what you sell and how steadily it comes in. As a rough guide, we expect most advances to land between one and two and a half times a month's sales. The estimator on our home page will give you a range, and your bank gives us the real one.

Am I eligible?

If you are a registered US company, have traded for a year or more, sell at least $5,000 a month and have a business bank account we can read, you can apply. The full list, and what we ask for on bigger amounts, is on our eligibility page.

How quickly?

About three minutes of your time to apply. Once your bank is connected you will usually hear back the same working day. A person still looks at it before any money moves.

What does it cost?

It depends which of the five you end up with, and on what your bank shows. A cash advance has one fixed total to pay back and no interest rate. Extended payment terms and invoice financing carry an agreed fee. A line of credit costs you only on what you draw. A long-term loan carries interest. Whichever it is, you see the full cost in writing before you sign, and applying costs nothing.

Is this a loan?

The cash advance is not: we buy a share of your future sales, so there is no interest rate. Extended payment terms, the line of credit and the long-term loan are credit: you repay what we paid out, plus an agreed cost. Invoice financing can be either, and your agreement says which. We always tell you which one you are being offered.

What do you need from me?

Your name, work email and website to start. For an actual answer we need to see your bank, either by connecting it read-only or from six months of statements. Read-only means we can look and never touch, and you can unhook it whenever you like.

Will you need anything else from me?

Sometimes. A cash advance usually runs on your bank alone. If you sell through retailers we may want to see what actually sold, and for larger amounts we will ask for your profit and loss and balance sheet. If you are already repaying other funding, we will want those agreements so we can size around them. You will be told what we need and why before you go looking for it.

Can I top up later?

Usually, yes. Once you have repaid part of what you took, you can often top up without starting again. We already have your numbers, so the second time is faster than the first.

What happens if you say no?

You get told why. Nothing is automatically rejected, and where the reason is something you can fix, a no for now becomes a conversation rather than a dead end.
